The senior team players, professional staff, management and club employees held a modest toast today ahead of the Passover holiday

Club owner Edmond Safra and his son Moise Safra sent their greetings from afar: “Dear Hapoel family, we wish you all a happy, safe holiday filled with joy and happiness. We miss you and hope to see you all soon. We hope for quieter and safer days for all the people of Israel. Happy Passover to you and the entire Hapoel Tel Aviv family”.

Club CEO Guy Primor added: “Usually, the Passover toast looks a bit different - but we’ve had to make adjustments due to the current situation. I don’t remember a Passover where the meaning of ‘the Festival of Freedom’ and the hope for freedom felt so real. In all of this, we as a club - and everyone here - have a huge privilege to act for so many families, soldiers and all our fans going through difficult days. Always remember how much good you bring to people; every minute we spend on the pitch brings happiness to our supporters. This is a great opportunity to wish everyone a happy holiday and to say a big thank you to all of you. I also want to mention our foreign players - you chose to be here, and there’s nothing we respect more than that choice. We love you and are happy you’re with us. A happy and safe holiday to everyone”.

Wishing all of us a happy and safe holiday!
