Another win for our Reds, who remain perfect at home and temporarily move up to first place: Avital and Ohana scored braces, Perl added one
The women’s team hosted last night (Sunday) Hapoel Ironi Bnot Karmiel as part of the sixth round of the National League, for a match that was moved up by two days from its original date, at the request of the clubs. Hapoel came into the match after a 0:4 win over Beitar Jerusalem in the previous round, returning to matches after a break of less than two weeks.

Hapoel got on the scoresheet first in the 30th minute, when Eden Avital received the ball on the left wing, tricked three opposing players and shot to the far corner of the goalkeeper in a beautiful goal, which is waiting for you to watch here in our app, in the Moments screen. Sixteen minutes into the second half, Avital played the role of assister, bursting into the box and lifting the ball to center-back Shai Perl, who scored with a single touch for the second straight match.
Ofer Ben Ze’ev’s players didn’t take their foot off the gas - seven minutes later Gil Havazelet struck the crossbar, Roni Ohana headed in the rebound. In the 78th minute Eden Avital completed a brace after a free kick near the edge of the box, and at the end of the match Roni Ohana also earned herself a personal brace, after a set-piece routine with Gil Havazelet. 0:5 at the final whistle.



Thanks to the win, Hapoel moved temporarily to first place in the league table (the remaining matches will be played on Tuesday), with 14 points out of a possible 18. Next Tuesday (2.12) the team will face Bnot Netanya for a top-of-the-table clash as part of the seventh round.
