One step away from promotion: The senior women’s team crushed the second-place side. Biton (brace), Biru, Adeboyejo, and Avital found the net
The senior women's team hosted Bnot Netanya at the Hodorov Complex for the 20th round of the National League (second round of the upper playoffs).
Hapoel broke the deadlock just three minutes into the match, with Hodeya Biton scoring from a Yetunde Adeboyejo assist. In the 20th minute, Orian Biro doubled the lead, marking her second consecutive game with a goal. Before the halftime whistle, Netanya managed to pull one back-only the sixth goal Hapoel has conceded all season.

Shortly after the restart, Hapoel scored their third as Hodeya Biton completed her brace, bringing her total to 14 goals in just half a season wearing the red uniform. The provider of the first goal, Yetunde Adeboyejo, claimed the fourth, and Eden Avital sealed the final score with her 30th league goal of the season. At the final whistle: 5-1 to Hapoel.
Regarding the defensive record, it is worth noting that during this match, the team surpassed the 100-goal milestone for the season, currently standing at 101 goals scored. May there be many more!

With four matches remaining in the season, they hold a seven-point lead over second-place Bnot Netanya and are 11 points ahead of third-place Maccabi Netanya (the top two teams are promoted at the end of the season).
