Memorial Day for Israel's Fallen Soldiers and Victims of Hostilities: Club members visited the graves of 85 fans of the team
As they do every year on Memorial Day for Israel's Fallen Soldiers and Victims of Hostilities, the club's management, professional staff, players from the men’s, women’s, and youth teams, and club employees visited the graves of 85 fans who fell in Israel's wars or were murdered in acts of terror.
From the kibbutzim and communities of the Gaza envelope, through cemeteries in the center of the country, and up to Kiryat Shmona—club representatives arrived at cemeteries to meet the bereaved families. They placed a special scarf on the fans' graves with the inscription "We will remember them all, we will love them all," along with a decorative stone engraved with "Together Forever"—two phrases that have been etched into the heart of the fan community since October 7th.
Club VP, Erez Naaman: "Memorial Day is a moment when we all stop to unite and remember Israel's fallen soldiers and the victims of hostilities, and for us as a club, it is also a mission. This year as well, Hapoel Tel Aviv representatives arrived at cemeteries across the country, stood by the bereaved families of our fans who are no longer with us, and expressed our respect and appreciation for the fallen. Our connection with these amazing families is not merely symbolic -it is a deep, human, and ongoing bond throughout the year. This tradition is an inseparable part of the values that lead this club, and we see it as a great privilege and a moral obligation to continue upholding it with the proper dignity. May the memory of the fallen be blessed".
The Hapoel Tel Aviv family, in all its facets, will continue to remember forever our brothers and sisters who lost their lives so that we may all live in our land. Hapoel Tel Aviv was an inseparable part of their hearts - and we will continue, every single day, to commemorate their memory and support their dear families.
Together Forever.
