Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv claimed an impressive 2–0 victory this evening over Hapoel Be’er Sheva in the Toto Cup semifinal at Turner Stadium, securing their place in the final. Goals were scored by Liran Rotman and Amit Lamkin.
This win marks a notable achievement for Hapoel, who had previously recorded just one victory at Turner Stadium across all competitions.
Backed by around 2,600 passionate away supporters, the Reds produced a disciplined and tactical display against one of the strongest sides in the Premier League.

The first half saw limited chances, but in the 38th minute Hapoel made the most of a decisive opportunity: Ran Binyamin delivered a pinpoint long pass to Liran Rotman, who outpaced Miguel Vítor, stayed composed in front of the goalkeeper, and finished clinically to give Hapoel a 1–0 lead.

In the second half, the visitors doubled their advantage in the 66th minute. Binyamin intercepted a ball in midfield, surged forward, and squared perfectly for young midfielder Amit Lamkin, who struck home to seal the 2–0 win.
With this result, Hapoel Tel Aviv advance to the Toto Cup Final for the fourth time in club history. Their only triumph came in 2002, while their last final appearance was on January 24, 2012, when they lost on penalties (4–3) to Ironi Kiryat Shmona.
Next up, Hapoel begin their Premier League campaign on Saturday, August 23, hosting Hapoel Kiryat Shmona at Bloomfield Stadium. Kickoff is set for 20:15.
