U19: 3:0 Victory Over Hapoel Petah Tikva

The Youth squad recorded a second consecutive playoff win: Olezki, Shyovitz, and Omri Levi found the net.

The U19 team traveled this afternoon (Friday) for an away match against Hapoel Petah Tikva at Lod Stadium, as part of the 24th round of the Youth Premier League.

In the 34th minute, Omri Levi delivered a fantastic through ball from the halfway line to Ravid Olezki, who ran all the way to give us the lead.


Thirteen minutes into the second half, the opening goalscorer,Olezki, made a brilliant run down the left flank and crossed the ball into the center. Yarin Shyovitz, who wore the captain's armband today, was waiting there to finish and score his first league goal of the season.

Striker Omri Levi also got on the scoresheet in the 75th minute. He capitalized on a rebound parried by the opposing goalkeeper into the center of the box, netting his eighth league goal of the season. A 3-0 victory for the Reds, who played in white today.


Shahar Viziner's squad has temporarily climbed to the top of the table, sitting on 51 points out of a possible 72. This coming Tuesday (April 28, 16:15), the team will travel to Be'er Sheva for the Youth State Cup quarter-final.
