The youth team hosted Hapoel Kiryat Shmona in Matchday 13 of the Youth League, played midweek.
After 87 scoreless minutes, Hapoel broke the deadlock with a sweet and dramatic goal. Giorgi Kuperva took a free kick from 25 meters, the opposing goalkeeper parried the shot, and Or Mesika pounced on the rebound to head home his fifth goal of the season.
Shahar Weisinger’s players maintain top spot for another round, four points clear of second place, with 30 points from a possible 39 and a positive goal difference of 25:12. In the next round, to be played this coming Saturday (December 20, 19:00), Hapoel will travel to Lod Stadium to face Beitar Jerusalem.
