An excellent first half gave the Reds three big points against the rivals from Jerusalem
The senior women’s team hosted Beitar Jerusalem for a makeup match as part of the fourth round of the league.
Nine minutes after kickoff, Shira Feniger was fouled in the box by the opposing goalkeeper. Defender Shai Perl, who wore the captain’s armband in the absence of the suspended Ana Chminova, converted the penalty and put us in the lead.
Ten minutes later, a nice combination between Eden Avital and Roni Ohana ended with a goal by the latter, bringing her season total to eight league goals.

In the 40th minute, Gil Havatzalet made it 3:0 with a sharp shot from the edge of the box. Three minutes later, Shai Perl was first to a corner kick and completed a brace with a beautiful scorpion kick to score Hapoel’s fourth.

The score remained unchanged until the end, and with the win, Hapoel climbed to second place in the league table, with 11 points out of 15 possible. The team will now go on a two-week break before hosting Hapoel Bnot Karmiel. The final kickoff time will be announced later.
Played for Hapoel: Agam Haviv, Shoval Kedoshim (Noa Levy, 27’), Shai Perl, Thaina Marinsh, Shira Feniger (Moran Hayman, 46’), Zohar Cohen, Hadas Prawer, Gil Havatzalet, Roni Eli, Eden Avital (Elia Shrara, 78’), and Roni Ohana.
