Hapoel Shavim began its league journey with a 1:0 derby victory.
The “Equal in Football” League has officially launched its second season, with the opening tournament held at Emek HaArazim Field in Jerusalem.
Our Hapoel Shavim team opened the competition with an impressive 1:0 win over Maccabi Tel Aviv in the derby, before falling 3:1 to Maccabi Haifa in the second match. The third game, originally scheduled against Hapoel Jerusalem, was postponed with mutual agreement and will be rescheduled for a later date.
In addition to our Hapoel Shavim side, the league also features the “Equal” teams of Maccabi Haifa, Hapoel Be’er Sheva, Maccabi Netanya, Hapoel Petah Tikva, Hapoel Kfar Saba, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Hapoel Jerusalem, Hapoel Ramat Gan, and Ironi Ashdod.
Later this season, additional national tournaments will take place in Be’er Sheva and Netanya.
