The midfielder will remain in Red until at least the end of the 2028/29 season: "I appreciate the trust placed in me; we have great goals yet to achieve"
Roei Alkukin will continue to wear the Red kit until the end of the 2028/29 season after extending his contract with the club.
The 22-year-old Alkukin has made 24 appearances across all competitions this season, scoring four goals and providing four assists.
He joined our youth academy at the Under-15 level and progressed through all the academy ranks. He made his senior debut at the end of the 2022/23 season in the final match against Hapoel Hadera, and spent the second half of the 2023/24 season on loan at Maccabi Herzliya. During the 2024/25 season, he made 37 appearances in Red, scoring four goals.
Alkukin said after signing: "I am thrilled to be part of this great club and to continue wearing the red shirt in the coming years. Hapoel Tel Aviv has become much more than a home to me, and I am happy with the trust placed in me.
