The Mexican defender, who made 170 appearances in her homeland's top flight, will join Hapoel: "I arrive with a lot of enthusiasm, commitment, and a desire to work for the badge."
Rebeca Zavaleta has signed with the club for one season with an option for an additional season. She is the first Mexican player in the club's history, and will temporarily be the fifth foreign player on our roster, alongside Maranhão and Santos from Brazil, Adeboyejo from Nigeria, and Neguito from Argentina.

The 26-year-old left-back has spent the last eight years playing in the Mexican league, wearing the colors of Cruz Azul (53 appearances), Pumas (84 appearances), Toluca (12 appearances), and in the past season, she recorded 21 appearances for Mazatlán. She has accumulated over 10,000 playing minutes across 170 appearances in the Mexican top flight.
Following her signing, Zavaleta said: "I am very happy and grateful for the opportunity to be part of this great team. I arrive with a lot of enthusiasm, commitment, and a desire to work for the badge and achieve great things together. See you all very soon."
Good luck, Rebeca!
