For the sixth consecutive year: The club will take the pitch in pink kits as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month: ״Early detection matters. It is not just a statistic; it saves lives״
Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv FC joins the fight against breast cancer for the sixth straight year. The first team will take the pitch for this Saturday's match against Ironi Tiberias wearing a special pink kit, the internationally recognized symbol for breast cancer awareness and the fight against the disease. The women's team will wear the pink kits in their away match against Hapoel Katamon next Thursday, and the youth squad will wear them on Wednesday against Hapoel Jerusalem.

Players from the men's and women's squads gathered for a special photoshoot alongside five breast cancer survivors volunteering with the "One in Nine" NGO: Osnat Oliel, Danit Glazer, Hilit Webman Shamai, Shlomit Laufer, and Daniella Pink Neimark. Ahead of kickoff, we will host an on-pitch ceremony with them, joining our voices to urge every woman to get checked, because early detection saves lives.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is marked every October to raise awareness about the vital importance of prevention, early diagnosis, and treatment. While breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in Israel, about 90% of patients can recover if the disease is diagnosed early. "One in Nine," in partnership with Assuta, developed a risk assessment questionnaire recommended for every woman over the age of 25. Personalized recommendations are provided upon completion, tailored to your age and calculated risk level.

Club CEO Guy Primor: "We are proud and moved to continue the pink kit tradition across our club's various teams. This is a crucial cause, and our partnership with 'One in Nine' only grows stronger year after year. I join the call: fill out the questionnaire on the 'One in Nine' website and go get checked. Early detection saves lives."
Shlomit Laufer, a volunteer in the 'By Your Side' program at 'One in Nine' and a breast cancer survivor, shared: "I am 39 years old. I was diagnosed at 30 after finding a lump myself. That is a very young age; even the doctor could hardly believe it. Eight years post-recovery and thankfully doing well, I volunteer with 'One in Nine', an incredible organization that supports patients, connects volunteers, and helps share our stories. The collaboration with Hapoel Tel Aviv is deeply moving. We are grateful for this opportunity and urge all women to get screened, because it truly saves lives. I know from experience."
Neta Oron, Head of Community Relations and Support Groups at 'One in Nine', added: "Early detection is critical. It is not just a statistic; it saves lives. We encourage every woman over 25 to complete the risk assessment questionnaire. Once completed, take the results to your physician, who will help determine your personal screening routine."
The official pink match shirt is available for purchase on the club's online store (limited stock).
