Toriel, Loizou, Kraev, Binyamin, Benymini, Alkukin and Dappa represented their national teams during the break. Here’s a look back at their week
Stav Toriel and the Israel national team closed the 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign with a 4:1 win over Moldova. Turiel came on as a substitute in the 77th minute.
In the current campaign, Turiel recorded his two debut appearances for the senior national team. Israel finished in third place in Group I. A few days earlier, the national team played a friendly match against Lithuania, which ended in a goalless draw, with Turiel coming on as a substitute in the 65th minute.

Loizos Loizou and the Cyprus national team closed the 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign with a 0:2 loss to Austria (65 minutes for Loizou).
Cyprus finished the group stage in fourth place in Group H, which included Austria, Bosnia, Romania, and San Marino. Loizou started in the national team’s lineup in all eight matches played in the campaign. Last night, Cyprus played a friendly match against Estonia, which ended in a 2:4 loss, with Loizou not participating.

Andrian Kraev and the Bulgaria national team closed the 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign with two matches, against Turkey and Georgia. In the first match, against Turkey, the Bulgarians lost 0:2 (72 minutes for Kraev) and beat Georgia 2:1 (Kraev did not participate).
Bulgaria finished the group stage in last place in Group E, which included Spain, Turkey, and Georgia. Kraev made four appearances in the current campaign, three of them in the starting lineup.

Dor Benymini, Ran Binyamin, Roei Alkukin, and Daniel Dappa played with the Israel U21 national team as part of the Euro 2026 qualifiers, against Norway and the Netherlands. In the match against Norway, which ended in a 0:3 loss, Benymini (90 minutes) and Binyamin (76 minutes) started in the lineup, Alkukin (14 minutes) and Dappa (25 minutes) came off the bench. In the match against the Netherlands, in which the national team recorded a big 3:1 win, Benymini (90 minutes) and Binyamin (80 minutes) started in the lineup - with the young midfielder scoring the second goal of the match. Alkukin and Dappa did not participate.
