Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv ended its match this evening at Green Stadium against Bnei Reineh with a dramatic 2-2 draw in Matchday 2 of the Israeli Premier League, thanks to a last-minute equalizer by Krayev in the 94th minute.

Hapoel traveled to Green Stadium accompanied by nearly 4,000 passionate red supporters who pushed the team throughout the match.

The Reds, who came off an impressive comeback victory last week over Ironi Kiryat Shmona, looked to continue their positive momentum. The first half was controlled by the home side, who took the lead in the 36th minute from a corner kick.

Right after halftime, Hapoel came out firing: Andrian Krayev delivered a perfect through ball to Stav Turiel, who netted his second goal in as many matches to level the score at 1-1.

Despite Hapoel’s pressure, Reineh quickly restored their lead with a counterattack that ended in a second goal in the 58th minute. A minute later, Shanda Silva made his debut for Hapoel, but ten minutes later was sent off with a direct red card following VAR intervention.

Even with ten men, Eliniv Barda’s side continued pressing for an equalizer. In the 91st minute, Doron Leidner’s brilliant run resulted in a handball by a Reineh defender inside the box. Turiel stepped up for the penalty, but goalkeeper Gad Amos made the save.

Then, in the 94th minute, came the dramatic climax: Daniel Dappa laid the ball off to Andrian Krayev at the edge of the area, and Krayev fired into the net to seal a 2-2 draw.

After two rounds, Hapoel has 4 points and a goal difference of 4:3.

The team’s next match will be in two weeks, on Monday (15/9), when Hapoel hosts Beitar Jerusalem at Bloomfield Stadium in Matchday 3 of the Israeli Premier League. Kickoff is at 20:30.
