Maria Almasri signed with the club for two years with an option for a third season and will join the squad.
The 22-year-old Almasri can play across all attacking positions: wing, striker, and attacking midfielder. She made her top-flight debut at just 15 years old, and has recorded 57 appearances in the first division, scoring 17 goals.
In recent years she played overseas for Grenoble 38 in the French second division, Turbine Potsdam in the 2. Frauen-Bundesliga, and this past season for SC Sand in the 2. Frauen-Bundesliga. She has 17 appearances for the senior Israel national team, scoring one goal.
Almasri said after the signing: "I am very happy to return home, to Jaffa. I look forward to doing exciting things with the girls on the pitch and with our amazing staff. Yalla Hapoel".
Good luck Maria!
