Hapoel cruise to a 3–0 victory over Hapoel Jerusalem in their first official home match of the season – and continue to lead Toto Cup Group B with a perfect record
Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv hosted Hapoel Jerusalem this evening in Matchday 3 of the Toto Cup group stage, marking the team’s first official appearance of the 2025/26 season at Bloomfield Stadium.
Coming off a dramatic 2–1 away win over Hapoel Petah Tikva in the tournament opener, Eliniv Barda’s men picked up right where they left off, delivering a convincing attacking performance in front of the loyal Red Army in the stands.
The Reds came out firing and struck early. In the 10th minute, Ran Binyamin delivered a sharp cross from the right, and Stav Toriel – scoring for the second straight game – finished clinically with his right foot.
Just seven minutes later, Roy Korine was brought down inside the box, and Toriel stepped up to the spot. The young forward made no mistake, calmly slotting home to complete a personal brace and take his tally to three goals in two official matches.
In the 35th minute, Hapoel struck again. A scramble in the visitors’ box ended with a clever chest pass from Lucas Falcao to Daniel Dappa, who rifled a low shot into the net from close range – his second goal of the competition.
Hapoel controlled proceedings in the second half and looked to extend their lead, but the final whistle confirmed a dominant 3–0 win, keeping them top of Group B with a flawless six points from two matches and an impressive goal differential of 5:1.
