Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv is beginning preparations for the 2026/27 season, which will kick off on July 18th with the "European Teams game" match against Beitar Jerusalem, followed by a two-legged tie against Ludogorets in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League (July 23rd and 30th).
The players are currently undergoing comprehensive medical examinations ahead of their return to training, which begins tomorrow (Wednesday).
The official, festive opening training session will be held this coming Sunday (June 28th) at 18:00 at the Hodrov Complex – and all red fans are invited to come and welcome the team back!
The squad will head to a training camp in Slovakia from July 6th to 15th, during which they will play three pre-season friendlies. Further details will be announced soon.
Alongside Head Coach Elyaniv Barda, the entire professional staff from last season will continue their roles: Assistant Coaches David Samaniego Garcia, Dušan Matović, Avihai Kalif, and Ofer Ben Zeev; Goalkeeping Coach Zhenya Dunaev; and Fitness Coaches Tal Volik and Julio Martinez.
