Hapoel held its third and final friendly match in Cyprus, ending in a loss to the locals
The team met Olympiakos Nicosia this Friday afternoon for a training match during their training camp in Cyprus. This was the third and final match of the camp, following a 2-0 victory over Ayia Napa and a 5-2 win against Spartakos.
Elyaniv Barda's men didn't manage many opportunities throughout the 90 minutes. The match was decided in the 71st minute by a penalty kick that beat Gad Amos, following a foul by Lucas Falcao inside the box.
In the coming days, Hapoel will return to Israel to continue preparations for the resumption of the league, scheduled for April 6th, when we will host Maccabi Haifa at Bloomfield Stadium.
