The team recorded a win in their first preparation match on Slovakian soil: Turiel equalized, Boateng decided the game

Hapoel held a friendly match today (Wednesday) against Czech side FC Zlín, as part of the team's training camp in Slovakia.

The Czech opponents took the lead first after their player beat Assaf Tzur in the 33rd minute. Not a minute passed before the Reds equalized: Altman played a through ball to Piven, who sent a low cross in. The ball was deflected by a defender, and Stav Toriel pounced on the rebound to level the score.

At the start of the second half, coach Elyaniv Barda substituted ten players, with the sole exception of Ofer Gelbard. In the 63rd minute, El Yam Kancepolsky broke through the midfield and delivered a beautiful through ball to Emmanuel Boateng, who found himself one-on-one with the goalkeeper, rounded him, and slotted home the winning goal.

Over the next two days, the team will continue to pick up the pace with intensive training sessions. On Saturday (July 11, 19:00 Israel time), they will face Slovakian side Dunajská Streda for another preparation match.
