Hapoel visited Teddy Stadium tonight for the final match of the 2025/2026 season, with a clear goal to finish the season with an away victory.
Between the posts, goalkeeper Dor Binyamini started for the first time this season and for the first time in his career in the Premier League.
The first half was characterized by a balanced and even game. The turning point came in the 35th minute, when the opponent's center-back received a second yellow card and was sent off from the pitch.
From that moment, Hapoel took control of the field and pressed the hosts' goal. The absolute dominance was translated into a goal in the 85th minute, thanks to a brilliant move by Mor Buskila, who was fouled inside the box and granted the team a justified penalty.
The one who stepped up to take the kick was Omri Altman, who recorded a particularly impressive milestone tonight with his 200th appearance in the Hapoel uniform. Altman was precise from the penalty spot, scored his seventh goal of the season, and put Hapoel into a 0-1 lead.
Despite the red dominance, in the final minutes the opponent managed to equalize the score to 1-1, in one of their few attacks in the match.
