Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv finished the Tel Aviv Derby tonight with a 1-1 draw as part of the 32nd round of the Winner League. Roy Korine equalized for Hapoel in the 87th minute.
Hapoel Tel Aviv arrived at the Tel Aviv Derby following two consecutive league losses, with only five rounds remaining until the end of the season. Facing a Bloomfield Stadium packed with Red fans, the team hoped to return to winning ways.
A one-sided match developed on the pitch, with Hapoel dominating throughout the 90 minutes. The opening was stormy, and as early as the 12th minute, a penalty was awarded to the Reds after a heavy foul on Emmanuel Boateng. Stav Toriel stepped up to take the kick but missed.
Contrary to the flow of the game, the opponent managed to score in the 25th minute during their only attack of the match. Hapoel continued to attack and applied heavy pressure throughout all stages of the game, but their efforts only bore fruit in the 87th minute. A pass from Loizos Loizou found Roy Korine, who fired a powerful shot into the corner from 17 meters out to make it 1-1.
Hapoel tried to find a winner in the remaining minutes but was unsuccessful, and the derby ended with the points shared.
At the end of the 32nd round, Hapoel is in fourth place in the table with 56 points (excluding 2 points deducted by the court) and a goal difference of 52:31 (+21).

8th minute: A very strange sequence occurred, at the end of which Stav Toriel was left alone in front of goal and rolled the ball into the empty net. The goal was disallowed after a VAR check for offside, but at the moment of Emmanuel Boateng's pass, Tyrese Asante committed a severe foul on him, and Hapoel was awarded a penalty which Toriel took and missed. Still 0-0.
14th minute: Fernand Mayembo headed toward the goal, but the ball flew over the frame and went out.

50th minute: Stav Toriel delivered a wonderful cross, and Loizos Loizou was left completely alone inside the box and headed toward the goal, but the ball was parried for a corner.
52nd minute: Stav Toriel charged down the wing, easily beat Sagiv Jehezkel, and delivered a cross to Roei Alkukin, who didn't strike the ball well enough and missed a great chance to equalize.
54th minute: This time Toriel tried himself, shooting from outside the box; the ball flew over the opponent's goal but wasn't too far off.
57th minute: Loizos Loizou shot from 18 meters, but the opponent's goalkeeper went down and caught the ball.
87th minute, Goal! Hapoel Tel Aviv equalizes to 1-1: It was in the air, and it's a justified goal by Roy Korine. Loizou showed some magic on the wing and easily found the substitute winger, who curled a fantastic shot that left the goalkeeper with no chance.
92nd minute: Mor Buskila was not far at all from a comeback, unleashing a powerful shot that was stopped by the opponent's goalkeeper and went out for a corner.
