The women's team will hold an eight-day training camp in the Czech Republic, featuring two friendly matches: "A significant moment for us"

Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv will depart today (Sunday) for its first-ever overseas training camp, taking place in the city of Mladá Boleslav. The team will play two warm-up matches against local opponents: the first against Pardubice (Tuesday 11/8, 18:00) and the second against Dukla Prague (Saturday 15/8, 18:00).

As a reminder, the team earned promotion back to the top flight at the end of last season, and has strengthened with seven new signings over the summer. Alongside the main core from last season and the new additions, seven players from the club's youth girls' team have also joined the trip.

Ofer Ben Zeev's squad will open their season later this month in the Athena Cup matches against Maccabi ASA Tel Aviv (20/8), M.S. Kiryat Gat (25/8), and Hapoel Ra'anana (30/8).

Technical Director of the Women's Department, Oshrat Eni, said before departure: "I admit there is something very exciting about setting off for the Hapoel Tel Aviv women's team's first overseas training camp. This is a significant moment for us, but for me, it is primarily another step on the path we are paving here. We want to build a professional, ambitious, and stable department, and when you start doing things that have never been done here before, you realize things can be done differently—and from that moment on, there's no turning back.

The players and staff have been working hard all summer and especially since the start of training, and will continue to work hard at the camp, where we will also play two friendly matches against local teams. This is a significant part of our season preparation, and we are arriving there to work, learn, bond, and keep improving.

One of the things I am most proud of is that a solid number of players from our youth department have earned the right to join us at the camp. For me, this is precisely the connection we want to create between the women's and girls' departments—showing young players what they can achieve while giving them the opportunity to start being part of the senior team's professional environment.

I want to extend a big thank you to everyone who worked, supported, and made this camp possible. It might look like just another week of football, but for us, it is so much more. It is another step in building the Hapoel Tel Aviv we aspire to be."

Head Coach, Ofer Ben Zeev, added: "After four weeks of intensive training, we are heading out for eight days where the goal is to step up another level professionally, socially, and as a team. We want to keep building on what we've worked on, strengthen our identity, and return ready to meet our goals for the upcoming season."

Regular updates from the team's training camp will be shared across the club's social media channels.
