The youth team hosted Maccabi Haifa today (Saturday) for the 27th round of the U-19 Premier League, in what was the final home match of the season.

​Just three minutes into the match, Ravid Olitsky made a great run down the left flank and was fouled inside the box. However, the ball reached Omri Levi, who struck it first-time into the back of the net to score his tenth league goal of the season.

Hapoel managed to hold onto the lead until the final whistle, securing a 1-0 win for the Reds, who are now looking ahead to the dramatic final round.

The Title Race Situation
​Hapoel is currently level on points with Maccabi Tel Aviv (60 points each), with the city rivals sitting in first place due to a superior goal difference (+43 for Maccabi, +27 for Hapoel).

​In the next round, which will close out the season, Hapoel will play away against Hapoel Beer Sheva, while Maccabi Tel Aviv will face Maccabi Haifa away. Shahar Weizinger’s squad will be aiming for a win in Beer Sheva while hoping for a slip-up by their city rivals in Haifa to lift the championship trophy.

Omri Altman has signed a new two-year contract and will wear the red shirt until at least the end of the 2027/28 season.

​The 32-year-old Altman has represented the red shirt for six seasons, making 197 appearances across all competitions. During the current season, he made 27 league appearances, scoring six goals and providing three assists. Altman is a highly respected professional and is widely loved both on and off the pitch.

First home game in the playoff: Maccabi Haifa arrives at Bloomfield. All the details are below.

The playoff battle steps up a gear. Hapoel will host Maccabi Haifa this coming Wednesday (29.4, 19:30) at Bloomfield Stadium for an important encounter in the final stretch of the season.

Ticket sales for the match are now open exclusively for fans with a purchase history for Hapoel Tel Aviv matches.

Additionally, the sale of Upper Playoff season tickets is ongoing. The season ticket will give you peace of mind and secure your seat for all home games in the Upper Playoff. Furthermore, it allows you to accumulate points as part of the loyalty points system and guarantees your eligibility to renew your season ticket for the next season at the renewal price.

As part of the points system, a fan who attends the match (by scanning their ticket at the stadium entrance) will be awarded 10 points.

Any opposing team fan identified in the Hapoel Tel Aviv stands will be immediately removed from the stadium, and their money will not be refunded.

We urge the red crowd to arrive at the stadium early to avoid congestion at the entrances.

Hapoel will play away against Hapoel Petah Tikva at the Moshava Stadium (Saturday, 20:00) for Matchday 28 of the Winner League and the second round of the playoffs. We will be seated in Stands 1-2 and 5-6. Please note that moving between the stands will not be permitted.

​Ticket sales will be conducted via the Away Points System according to the following criteria:

​Saturday, 20:00: Fans with 410-435 points will receive an SMS with a link to purchase a ticket. The right to purchase will be reserved until Sunday at 09:00.
​Sunday, 11:00: 20% of the total tickets will be available for fans with 350-405 points. This purchase window will remain open until 13:00 on a first-come, first-served basis.
​Sunday, 13:30: 10% of the total tickets will be opened to all season ticket holders.

The midfielder will remain in Red until at least the end of the 2028/29 season: "I appreciate the trust placed in me; we have great goals yet to achieve"

​Roei Alkukin will continue to wear the Red kit until the end of the 2028/29 season after extending his contract with the club.

​The 22-year-old Alkukin has made 24 appearances across all competitions this season, scoring four goals and providing four assists.

He joined our youth academy at the Under-15 level and progressed through all the academy ranks. He made his senior debut at the end of the 2022/23 season in the final match against Hapoel Hadera, and spent the second half of the 2023/24 season on loan at Maccabi Herzliya. During the 2024/25 season, he made 37 appearances in Red, scoring four goals.

Alkukin said after signing: "I am thrilled to be part of this great club and to continue wearing the red shirt in the coming years. Hapoel Tel Aviv has become much more than a home to me, and I am happy with the trust placed in me. Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv, in collaboration with 'Israel Hayom', announces the first-of-its-kind Business and Sports Technology (SportTech) conference in the Israeli football landscape. The conference will take place on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at the VIP complex in Bloomfield Stadium.

The event aims to position the club as a hub for innovation in sports and technology. It is expected to host approximately 500 invitees, including CEOs of leading companies, SportTech entrepreneurs, representatives from sports clubs, business partners, and media personnel.

The conference will feature short lectures and professional panels presenting the hottest trends at the intersection of technology and sports. Discussions will focus on enhancing the fan experience in the stands, implementing technological tools to optimize the professional side, and creating new commercial models and revenue streams for clubs.
