The talented striker has joined his teammates at the training camp: "I'm grateful for the tremendous effort to bring me here - you can already feel the power of Hapoel"
Striker Daniel Dappa has signed a five-year contract with the club, after successfully passing his medical exams and joining his teammates at the training camp in Poland. Dappa will wear the number 44 jersey.

Born in Israel to Ghanaian parents, Dappa began playing football at age 12, and joined the youth academy of Maccabi Netanya in the U-16 team.
From the outset, Dappa put up impressive numbers in Netanya’s youth ranks: in the 2022/23 season he scored 20 goals in all competitions for the U-16 team, and in the 2023/24 season netted 19 league goals for the U-17s.
He started the past season with Netanya’s youth team, scoring 10 league goals by January. In just his second appearance for the senior team, he came off the bench to score the winning goal against Kiryat Shmona — and from then on became a regular in the Israeli Premier League. By the end of the season, he had scored three more league goals and registered one assist.
In March, Dappa made three appearances for Israel’s U-19 national team, and scored a goal in a friendly with the Olympic team against Bulgaria two months ago.
After signing, Dappa said: "I'm so happy and excited to be part of this amazing club. Huge thanks to the club’s owner, Edmond Safra, to CEO Guy Primor, the coaching staff, and my agent, attorney Stav Hakmon, for their trust, support, and the tremendous effort to bring me here. You can feel Hapoel’s power from the very first moment — I can’t wait for the season to start."
Good luck, Daniel!

The young left-back commits his future to the club: "Already in my first senior appearances, I felt the desire to be part of Hapoel in the future as well"
Left-back Ofer Gelbard has signed a contract with the club that will keep him at Hapoel until the end of the 2028/29 season.
Gelbard (19) joined our youth academy a decade ago, starting in the U-8 team, and has progressed through every level since. Over the past two seasons, he has played for the club’s U-19 team and has made six senior appearances across all competitions.
Following the signing, Gelbard said: "I'm very happy to sign a senior contract with the club where I grew up. From my very first appearances with the senior team, I felt the power of this club — and the desire to be a part of it in the future. I’ll give everything I have to bring joy to our red fans and help the team succeed in the coming years."
Good luck, Ofer!

The midfielder will remain in red until the end of the 2026/27 season: "Excited and looking forward to continuing to be part of the club’s return to the main stage"
El Yam Kancepolsky has signed a two-year contract extension with the club and will wear the red shirt through the end of the 2026/27 season.
The 21-year-old midfielder joined our youth academy at the Under-10 level and has since progressed through every age group. He made his senior team debut in the final match of the 2020/21 season and has gone on to record 82 appearances for the first team.
Following the signing, Kancepolsky said: "Everyone knows Hapoel Tel Aviv is more than just a club to me – and I couldn’t be happier to extend my contract. I'm excited and looking forward to continuing to be part of the club’s return to the main stage of Israeli football, and I’m confident we’ll achieve the goals we’ve set for ourselves. Yalla Hapoel!"
Good luck, El Yam!

A graduate of the girls’ youth academy, she returns to play for the women's team: "Excited to come back home, I’m here to fulfill big dreams"
Noa Levy has signed with the club for one season, with an option for another, and will return to play for the senior team.
17-year-old Levy, who plays as a defender and midfielder, grew up in Hapoel’s youth department and spent three seasons with the club’s girls and under-19 teams. In the 2023/24 season, she was promoted to the senior squad and took part in the team’s promotion to the Premier League, making 15 appearances.
Last season, she played for Hapoel Petah Tikva.
Following her signing, Levy said: "I couldn't be more excited to come back home. Hapoel Tel Aviv is the club I grew up in, and I’m thrilled to return and play in its ranks. My last season in red ended with promotion and many joyful moments – I’m coming back aiming to repeat that, and dreaming even bigger. Yalla Hapoel!"

Lucas Falcao has signed a three-season contract with the club after landing in Israel, completing his medical examinations – and will fly today (Tuesday) with the team to the training camp in Poland. Falcao will wear jersey number 98.
The 27-year-old Falcao was acquired from Athletico Paranaense of Brazil’s second division, which he joined last January – making 23 appearances in all competitions. Prior to that, he spent two years at CRB, also in Brazil’s second division, where he played 113 matches in all competitions.
Following the signing, Falcao said: “I’m excited to join Hapoel Tel Aviv, a big club with a rich history and amazing fans – who I’ve heard a lot about. Today we head to training camp, and I’m already looking forward to meeting my new teammates. We’ll bond and work hard to become a team that is ready for the challenges ahead, as a united group that gives everything for the club and its fans. Yalla Hapoel!”
Good luck, Falcao!

The young midfielder will remain in red until the end of the 2028/29 season: "I'm happy to continue at a place that has become much more than home for me, and I'm grateful for the trust."
Amit Lemkin has signed a new four-years contract with the club and will wear the red jersey through the end of the 2028/29 season. Naturally, Amit will join the team on its training camp in Poland.
The 19-year-old midfielder joined our youth academy in the U13 team – and has since progressed through all levels of the department. In the past season, 2024/25, he was promoted to the senior team, made 12 appearances across all competitions, and scored one goal.
After signing, Lemkin said: "I'm happy to continue at the club where I grew up and developed – a place that has become much more than a home for me. I want to thank the entire organization for their trust. I'm very excited and can't wait to see our fans again and play for them. We're heading into the training camp in Poland full of hunger, passion, and motivation – and we hope to start the season on the right foot. Yalla Hapoel!"

Hapoel will take off today (Tuesday) for an 11-day training camp in Poland, during which the team will play four friendly matches. All the details are in the article below
Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv will take a step forward in its preparations for the 2025/26 season as the team heads to a training camp in the town of Siedlce, Poland, located about 100 kilometers from Warsaw, between the dates 8–18/7.
Hapoel’s training sessions will be held at the modern Siedlce Sports Centre, considered one of the premier athletic facilities in the region. The complex includes a natural grass stadium, synthetic pitches, a professional indoor arena, fully equipped gyms, and excellent recovery amenities—such as a swimming pool and sauna. These high-quality conditions will allow the squad to focus on physical, tactical, and mental preparation at the highest level ahead of the upcoming season.
During the camp, Hapoel will play four friendly matches:
The matches will be broadcast live – further details will be announced later.
Facts and figures:
This marks the eighth time in club history that Hapoel will hold its preseason training camp in Poland. In the previous seven camps, the team played 20 friendly matches, earning 12 wins, 6 draws, and only 2 losses, with a goal difference of 37 scored and 15 conceded.
Last summer, Hapoel played three friendlies in Poland, winning two and drawing the third 2-2.
This year, Hapoel will face four opponents from three different countries during the camp. The first match will be against Polish side Gornik Leczna, followed by a game against Neptunas Klaipeda from Lithuania. The third match will be against another Polish club, Motor Lublin, and the final match will be played against Neftchi Baku from Azerbaijan.
Throughout its history, Hapoel has faced Polish clubs 21 times—19 friendlies and 2 official matches in the UEFA Europa League. The club’s first-ever encounter with a Polish team was in 1937, when Hapoel defeated Pogoń Lwów 2-0. In friendlies against Polish opposition, the Reds have recorded 12 wins, 4 draws, and 3 losses, with a goal tally of 36:17 in Hapoel’s favor.
In official competition, Hapoel played Legia Warsaw twice in Group C of the 2011/12 Europa League. In the first leg (29/09/2011), Hapoel lost 3-2 in Poland despite goals by Toto Tamuz (34’) and Maharan Lala (79’). In the return leg (15/12/2011), the Reds earned a 2-0 victory at Bloomfield Stadium thanks to goals by Salim Toama (33’) and Avihai Yadin (76’).
Hapoel has faced Neftchi Baku once before in a training camp match ahead of the 2006/07 season, winning 3-2 with goals from Ivan Jolić, Bibras Natcho, and Kfir Udi.
This will be the first-ever meeting between Hapoel and a Lithuanian club in a training camp match.
