החלוץ האמריקאי גייב סגל חתם על חוזה לעונה אחת ויצטרף למועדון בהשאלה מניו יורק סיטי FC מליגת ה-MLS.

סגל שיחק ב-12 משחקים בקבוצת המילואים של קלן הגרמנית, לפני שהצטרף העונה לניו יורק סיטי FC. החלוץ אף ייצג בעבר את ארה"ב בנבחרות U-18, U17, U16 ו-U14. Today Hapoel Tel Aviv announced the signing of American striker Gabe Segal who will join the team on a one-year loan from New York City FC (MLS).
Segal (22) originally from Bethesda, Maryland (USA), is coming off his first half season in MLS, scoring 2 goals in 12 games.
“Gabe is a young and talented player - and in the minutes he got this season in the MLS he showed his quality as a first team footballer," said the head of the club's football department, Hen Sol, "Gabe has a great work ethic and competes with maximum effort. We are happy that he is joining us and we are confident that he will help us to reach our goals this season. We would like to thank New York City FC for their cooperation and look forward to welcoming Gabe in Tel Aviv soon”.
Segal played 12 games for the German club FC Cologne reserve team, before joining New York City FC this season. He previously represented the USA at the U-18, U17, U16 and U14 national teams.
